Thank You for Being Part of the Reworx Community

Recently, I took a moment to look back through Reworx job folders and project photos from the past thirteen years—thirteen years of transforming reclaimed wood, salvaged materials, and cast-off industrial artifacts into one-of-a-kind furnishings and functional pieces.

What stood out most was the number of repeat clients who have come back to us time and time again for new projects. It made me realize just how fortunate we are to be part of a loyal, sustainability-minded community—a group of people who fuel our efforts and believe in the power of repurposing materials.

Unparalleled Support Through Our Biggest Transition

Over the past three years, our dedicated following of patrons and repeat clients have shown unparalleled support as we navigated one of the biggest transitions in our company’s history. After purchasing a property of our own, the road wasn’t easy. We acquired a neglected equestrian center and spent years renovating it with only our small team, repurposing the horse stables into flooring and using every salvaged material native to the property to rebuild our space. With such a large project at hand, our focus was spread thin, making it difficult to grow Reworx into what the reclaimed movement required of us. The truth is, we would not be where we are today without the dedicated group of clients who stood by us, supporting what we do. As we near the completion of the new Reworx studio and reflect on this pivotal transition, we are beyond grateful for those who have been with us along the way. We’re excited to soon announce the new direction Reworx is taking, scaling our growth in alignment with what the reclaimed movement requires from us as stewards of thoughtful design and sustainable craftsmanship.

The future home of Reworx—newly acquired property featuring a historic building that will be transformed into a reclaimed wood workshop and sustainable design studio.
Day one at the new home of Reworx—now three years in. Purchasing this property has significantly increased our capabilities in rescuing reclaimed materials. Previously, we operated out of a rented space spread across three different floors in one building and managed 12 separate storage locations across Connecticut. Now, with everything centralized under one roof, we can streamline our operations, expand our salvaging efforts, and maximize our impact in sustainable design and architectural salvage.

Sustainability Through Collaboration

Together, we have saved countless tons of reclaimed wood, industrial metal, and historic materials that otherwise would have been discarded—lost to landfills or scrap yards. Instead, these materials have been rescued, reimagined, and given a second life in homes, restaurants, offices, and commercial spaces across the region.

The truth is, this is more than just our work—it’s a collective effort. Without the growing number of architects, designers, homeowners, business owners, and builders who choose to incorporate sustainable, reclaimed materials into their projects, none of this would be possible.

One of the oldest reclaimed structures rescued by Reworx, the historic Cobble Road Barn in Kent, CT, has been reclaimed three times. Originally built using materials from Beckley Forge in New Canaan, CT, the structure was first deconstructed in 1840, then repurposed into a barn 10 years later. Now, the Reworx team has salvaged it once more, preserving its legacy through sustainable design projects.

A Thank You to Our Sustainability-Minded Clients

So, kudos to all of you who support our mission, appreciate the beauty of reclaimed materials, and trust us to bring your ideas to life. Your commitment to sustainable furniture, architectural salvage, and custom craftsmanship makes everything we do worthwhile.

Because of you, we’re not just saving materials—we’re preserving stories, reducing waste, and building a future where quality, history, and sustainability go hand in hand.

Let’s Keep Building Something Meaningful

As we continue this journey, we remain committed to crafting high-quality reclaimed wood furniture, custom furnishings, and sustainable designs that not only look amazing but also make a positive impact.

Thank you for being part of the Reworx family.

Go Team!
